Thanks to the synergistic action of comfrey associated with arnica, St. John's wort and marigold, this balm works deep into the skin and muscles. The comfrey balm supports the repairing capacity of the skin in case of redness, fissures, cracks, minor burns, sunburn and skin irritation.
The name Comfrey is derived from the Latin "consolidare" (to strengthen), and is applied to the plant because of its powerful regenerative effect on the conjunctive tissue of the skin. Containing much mucilage, Comfrey has a remarkable smoothing effect and protects the skin against external aggressions. Arnica has been known since the Middle Ages for its anti-inflammatory action and its beneficial effects in case of shocks. St John's Wort stimulates the cell regeneration and embellishes the skin. Calendula, containing much flavonoids, is one of the most effective plants for skin care.

- All skin problems (ageing, red blotch, sun effect).
- Sore muscles after intense exercise. Massage the painful area until penetration. Repeat several times if necessary.
Recommendations for use
- Apply on the skin and massage until full penetration.
- Maximum 2 to 3 times per day.
Precautions for use
- External use (do not swallow).
- Avoid contact with eyes.
- Do not use on open wounds.
- Do not use on children under 30 months and children with a history of febrile seizures.
- Do not use during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
The percutaneous absorption of the pyrrolizidine alkaloids present in comfrey plants proved to be very low. So reasonable use of the ointment can be made with confidence.
