Roman Chamomile essential oil: precious and soothing
Also known as noble chamomile, Roman chamomile (Anthemis nobilis) offers a rare, gentle and comforting essential oil. Ideal for use on sensitive, irritated or itchy skin, it is distinguished by its calming properties and floral, straw-like fragrance.
A perennial plant with delicate white flowers, Roman chamomile belongs to the Asteraceae family, one of the largest in the plant kingdom. Each inflorescence contains numerous small flowers, giving rise to a richly aromatic essential oil.
A concentrate of natural active ingredients
Roman chamomile essential oil is characterized by a high ester content, molecules recognized for their relaxing effects. It also contains monoterpenols, ketones and acids, which reinforce its properties, even in small quantities.
Note: do not confuse this essential oil with that of wild chamomile (Ormenis mixta), German chamomile (Matricaria recutita) or annual tansy (Tanacetum annuum), sometimes also called blue chamomile.

Precautions for use
- Dietary supplement. Not a substitute for a varied, balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. Do not exceed recommended dosage (1 drop 2 times a day, maximum 80 mg).
- Not recommended during the first trimester of pregnancy.
- Not recommended for young children without medical advice.
- Do not exceed one month's use.
- Caution in case of known allergy to Asteraceae.
- Risk of allergy (limonene): take care not to overdose in mixtures. An elbow test is recommended prior to any cutaneous application (at least 48 hours before use).
- Avoid contact with eyes
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Keep away from heat and light.
